Welcome to Route 60 Art – How we got our Name

When I made the decision to offer my artwork to the public I knew I wanted to have a name for my brand. As with every big decision I turned to the smartest person I know, my wife Shelley. We talked about a lot of options but nothing really stuck. Then one day while we were driving through our hometown of Conception Bay South, NL we stopped at a local store on our main street. Shelley, as she often does, had a brain storm of an idea, lets call it Route 60 Art as the main road that runs through our town is “Route 60”. I immediately loved the idea and that’s how our brand was born.

With a name in hand I sketched out some logo designs and with the aid of a graphics package completed the final design. From there we secured the name for our social media pages and our domain names (both .com and .ca) and our artistic journey began.
