Forget Me Not Original (Sold)

This vibrant painting captures a beautiful yellow dory resting in shallow coastal waters, transformed into a living garden of delicate blue forget-me-not flowers. The weathered wooden boat, glowing in warm golden-yellow and orange tones, contrasts beautifully with the brilliant blue ocean and expansive sky filled with soft, white clouds. In the background, a distant green shoreline adds depth and a sense of tranquillity.

The abundant flowers rising from the boat suggest remembrance, renewal, and the enduring connection between Newfoundland’s fishing heritage and its natural beauty. The bold colours, expressive brushwork, and playful composition give the painting a distinctive charm, celebrating the meeting of land, sea, and memory.

Forget Me Not is a joyful tribute to Newfoundland and Labrador’s coastal traditions, offering a fresh and imaginative interpretation of a familiar maritime symbol.
