Come from Away Original

The painting “Come From Away” celebrates one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s most iconic natural events—the annual arrival of towering icebergs carried south by the Labrador Current. During the spring and summer, icebergs can be seen around the northern and eastern coasts of Newfoundland. They come in lots of shapes and sizes, 90% of them coming from the glaciers of western Greenland.
