The whale tail, or fluke, is a powerful symbol that represents strength, protection and resilience. The same can be said of our mothers and grandmothers, who made beautiful quilts by hand out of leftover scraps of fabric. Known as crazy quilts, these works of art kept families warm and cozy, and to this day are passed down from generation to generation. The combination of the two inspired the name “Crazy Fluke”.
