A Bridge No More – Original

$425.00

The painting is a representation of the concrete bridge that was built in 1945, serving as a crucial connection between the two islands of Exploits Islands, Newfoundland. The first bridge connecting the two islands was built around 1899 and was a wooden structure, later converted to a drawbridge.
The concrete bridge was demolished in 1988 and today the only way to travel between the islands is by boat.
